On Wednesday, wearable gadgets maker Amazfit launched its latest T-Rex 3 smartwatch in the Indian market, making its global debut at IFA 2024.
The all-new Amazfit T-Rex is equipped with the OpenAI-s GPT-4o AI assist feature.
The wearable maker has designed this rugged smartwatch to attract tech enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers and receive pre-orders for this product. T-Rex 3 features a robust design with a 1.5-inch circular AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass and encased stainless steel bezels for added protection.
Amazfit T-Rex 3 Gets GPT-4o AI Assist Feature
With the global recognition of AI assist tools to access information online, Amazfit has equipped its latest wearable product with OpenAI’s GPT-4o AI assistant, claiming better user interaction and smartwatch features.
The Amazfit T-Rex 3 price in India starts from Rs 19,999. It is currently available for pre-order in the Onyx Color variant through ecommerce platforms like Amazon and Amazfit’s official website.
The wearable brand has scheduled deliveries for pre-ordered T-Rex 3 smartwatches from September 27, while the other Lava color option is anticipated to come into the market in October. The smartwatch comes with ATM water resistance and military-grade standards, making it a durable smartwatch in its segment.

Amazfit T-Rex 3 Smartwatch Features
The smartwatch has multiple workout options with more than 170 preset modes available from the brand. The device from Amazfit also has advanced health monitoring features via its BioTracker PPG biometric sensor that tracks important health stats like heart rate and blood oxygen levels.
One of the most impressive features of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch is its long-lasting battery life, with the wearable brand’s claim of up to 27 days of battery backup through its 700mAh battery unit.
Even during heavy use, the smartwatch can offer up to 13 days of battery life. In contrast, on GPS functionality, the battery life varies depending on selected modes, with the most conservative mode offering up to 180 hours of battery usage.
T-Rex 3 runs on ZeppOS 4 and is compatible with the Zepp App, providing easy smartphone integration. The smartwatch supports dual-band GPS, allowing users to download offline maps and get navigation instructions through the connected Bluetooth headset.
