Samsung Galaxy S25+ will likely launch with the base Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra earlier the next year. Samsung is anticipated to launch and position this smartphone as the successor of Galaxy S24+, which was introduced in January this year.
The recent leaks showed CAD based design renders and battery details about the smartphone. With the latest industry update, the smartphone has been spotted on a popular benchmarking website. The US variant of Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra was also spotted on this website.
Galaxy S25+ Geekbench Listing
A Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-S936U is anticipated to be Galaxy S25+, and it was spotted on Geekbench. The “U” in the model number suggests its US variant of the purported smartphone.
The handset appears to have an octa-core Qualcomm chipset with two cores clocking 4.19 GHz and six cores with 2.90 GHz. The listed details show the handset comes with an integrated Adreno 830 GPU.

According to chip architecture, the Samsung handset appears to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC and is likely to launch in October. Previous industry leaks have also claimed that all Samsung Galaxy S25 series smartphones will have the same chipset. The smartphone manufacturer will also introduce Exynos 2500 variants. The top-end smartphones in the US are typically offered with Qualcomm chipsets.
On the benchmarking site, Samsung Galaxy S25+ obtained 3,054 and 9,224 scores on single- and multi-core performance. The purported Galaxy S25+ smartphone would have 12GB of RAM and Android 15 operating system.
The recent leaks show a design similar to the existing Galaxy S24+ model with additional rings on the triple rear camera setup. The rear camera setup can be like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The upcoming Galaxy S25+ is anticipated to have a 4,755mAh battery. The handset appears to support 45W wired fast charging.
