Asus Launches ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus Laptop

Asus, a Taiwanese electronics manufacturer, has launched its Asus ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook laptop to expand its enterprise-centric portfolio in India. The newly launched Asus Chromebook gets an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, making the first Chromebook from the company stand out in the market. The Expertbook CX54 laptop has an all-metal body and is also tested for military-grade certification to ensure durability.

Powering from an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, the ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook laptop gets up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB PCI Express M.2 SSD storage. Since it’s an enterprise-focused laptop offered by ASUS, it gets Google’s cloud-first Chromebook Plus platform, ensuring the users have the necessary software to streamline their work processes. Moreover, the ASUS Chromebook also gets Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 to support fast networking.

ExpertBook CX54 laptop has a 14-inch touchscreen display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and WQXGA resolution. The screen also packs an anti-glare finish to avoid reflections. There is an 8-megapixel built-in camera for video conferencing, utilizing Google’s machine learning HDRnet technology for enhanced dynamic range and exposure. The laptop also gets a 4K external display connectivity option, Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, and HDMI 2.1 to ensure users can easily connect their 4K external displays. Customers can also find USB Type-A ports and microSD card slots for expanding storage.

 

ASUS has offered a Kensington lock slot, a built-in fingerprint reader, and a Titan C2 security chip for privacy and protection. Google has designed this security chip to protect user’s information, ensure system integrity, and protect sensitive business data. Buyers can purchase this ExpertBook CX54 laptop with Chrome Enterprise Upgrade (perpetual license) that provides simple device management using the Google Admin console.
