Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Found Listed on BIS, Ahead of Official Launch in July

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is ready for its global debut alongside Galaxy Z Fold 5 in Seoul, South Korea. Samsung, the world's one of the largest smartphone manufacturers, has already confirmed to host its next Unpacked event in Seoul, which is rumored to be scheduled on July 26. However, Samsung hasn't provided official information about the date and time of the event.

However, Samsung hasn't provided official information about the date and time of the event.

Samsung may introduce its foldable smartphones in the Indian market after making its global debut at the Galaxy Unpacked in Seoul. Going by the rumor mills, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has already been spotted on the website of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). 


The phone was spotted on the BIS website by MySmartPrice, which suggested that the upcoming Galaxy phone has a model number SM-F731B. The design renders of Galaxy Z Flip 5 had already leaked, suggesting the phone will boast a 3.4-inch of cover display on the outside along with a dual camera with an LED flash setup. The updated cover screen is said to be larger than the Galaxy Z Flip 4, which currently comes with a 1.9-inch of the outer display.

Additionally, Samsung can provide a 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED display with full-HD plus screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8Gen 2 Soc chipset with a 3.36GHz clock speed. The phone could be supported by a 3700mAh battery pack along with 2W fast and 10W wireless charging. 


Samsung Galaxy Z Flip would also have 12MP primary and 12MP wide camera sensors along with LED flash, while on the front, there will be a 12MP selfie camera. It's anticipated that Samsung can offer Android 13-based One UI 5.1 OS.


Like other Samsung smartphones, the phone would pack a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 5G connectivity, and dual speakers.
