Bloomberg’s Report on Underpaid Google Contract Workers
Previously the report shared by Bloomberg notified that the contract workers who are charged to review and improve Bard’s productivity capabilities are underpaid and require working overtime, making them stressed.
The report mentioned that since the company entered the field of generative AI to compete with Open AI’s ChatGPT, the size of the workload and complexities have drastically increased. In the absence of proper training, the contract workers were asked to review the answers generated by Google Bard on various domains, ranging from medicine to law.
Due to recent layoffs and challenging work scenarios, most Google employees seem to be worried, stressed, and don’t have any idea what’s going on in the company.
